SSC grants defence lawyers in ‘tobacco case’ 14 days to submit statements

AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) on Wednesday gave the attorneys of the defendants of the so-called “tobacco case” 14 days to submit their final written statements.
During a session headed by Nasser Salamat, a civil judge, the prosecutor general presented his written statement, while the court granted the defendants' attorneys two weeks to submit theirs, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
