Tawjihi complementary session sees 66.9% pass rate

AMMAN — The results of the Tawjihi (the general secondary education certificate examination) complementary session were announced on Thursday, witnessing a pass rate of 66.9 per cent in the academic stream and 61.5 per cent in the vocational stream, according to the Education Ministry.
The ministry noted that a total of 100,198 students registered for the exams, 85,897 of whom took the exam to complete requirements and 14,301 to increase their average, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Of the total registered students, 90,871 students sat for the examination, 60,134 of whom achieved their required scores, the ministry added.
