Teacher academy opens training centre in southern region

AMMAN — The Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) on Tuesday inaugurated a training centre in Karak to serve teachers in the southern region. Hala Taher, director of development and programmes at the QRTA, said the centre would encourage teachers to transfer the training they receive to other colleagues.
Central Karak Education Director Sabah Nawayseh highlighted that training is important in the professional development of teachers, adding that developing students’ skills cannot be achieved without honing teachers’ skills, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
