Thai ambassador briefed on investment opportunities in Irbid

IRBID — Irbid Chamber of Industry Chairman Hani Abu Hassan on Monday discussed ways of developing economic cooperation and investment opportunities with Thai Ambassador to Jordan Apichart Phetcharatana.

During the meeting, attended by members of the Jordan-Thai Friendship Society, Abu Hassan highlighted Irbid’s advantages, as it has three industrial cities whose exports have reached the EU and the US, with $600 million in revenue last year.

The ambassador said his visit aims to get acquainted with economic opportunities in Irbid and inform Thai investors about them to encourage investments in Jordan and strengthen economic relations between the two countries.
