AMMAN — Interpol’s office in Amman has referred three Arab suspects, who are wanted internationally in separate cases, to the relevant judicial authorities, the Public Security Department’s (PSD) media centre announced Tuesday.

The first is charged with stealing 2.12 billion Iraqi dinars from state money; the second faces charges of embezzling $12 million; and the third suspect is wanted for writing a bounced cheque of 3.78 million Emirati dirhams.

The first two suspects are wanted by Iraqi authorities, and the third by the UAE, the PSD said, adding that the suspects were questioned once they were apprehended, before being referred to court.
