Three suspects detained in attempted bank robbery

AMMAN — Security agents have arrested three suspects who reportedly on Sunday attempted to rob the Jordan Islamic Bank branch in Ruseifa, some 12km east of Amman in Zarqa Governorate, according to a source at the Ruseifa police department.
The suspects confessed to the attempted robbery and recreated the crime in front of Criminal Investigation Department Director Brig.
Gen.
Ali Hweitat and other officials, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The suspects had reportedly attempted to destroy one of the bank’s walls to gain access inside, the source said.
