Tobacco-Free Jordan launches campaign to tackle second-hand smoke

AMMAN — Tobacco-Free Jordan, on Saturday launched a campaign against second-hand smoke in cooperation with a local media company, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
The campaign adopted the “positive shock” method to identify the side-effects of inhaling tobacco smoke, which leads to chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease and impotence, stressing the risk of second-hand smoke on children and teenagers.
Tobacco-Free Jordan is an organisation that aims to raise awareness of the dangers of smoking.
