Tourism minister, mayor discuss boosting sector in Amman

AMMAN — Tourism Minister Lina Annab and Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji on Saturday discussed several issues related to tourism in the capital, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. In the presence of tourism association presidents, Annab stressed the importance of partnership with the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) to boost tourism in the city.
Biltaji affirmed GAM’s keenness to activate tourism in coordination with the ministry and the concerned associations. GAM is working on applying regulations on tourism facilities for qualification such as distance from streets, availability of parking lots and pavements.
