Trade minister, Egypt counterpart discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Al Ali and Egyptian counterpart Nevin Gamea on Thursday highlighted the importance of exerting efforts to realise the outcomes of Jordanian-Egyptian-Iraqi summits in a way that enhances trilateral economic cooperation.
The two ministers, during a meeting in Amman, also called for overcoming obstacles facing trade. Ali urged Gamea to take measures to alleviate the hardshipsfacing some Jordanian companies in exporting their products to the Egyptian market, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Ali and Gamea also inaugurated the 14th Egyptian Products Exhibition in Amman that will continue until October 2. They also discussed means to hold a similar exhibition for Jordanian products in Cairo.
