Training centre to deal with weapons of mass destruction opens

AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Tuesday officially opened a training centre to deal with weapons of mass destruction, which was implemented in cooperation with the US.
The centre aims at introducing preventive procedures against chemical agents, and includes specialised training halls; mobile and fixed laboratories; maintenance departments; and other facilities.
Senior officers from the JAF, security institutions and the US Defence Threat Reduction Agency attended the inauguration ceremony.
