AMMAN — Al Marji’ Publications, publishers of parenting magazines, Family Flavours and Nakahat ‘Ailiyeh, and the Children’s Museum Jordan connected over 100 mothers and fathers with experts in parenting at training sessions held recently, the organisers said in a statement released on Sunday.
The sessions covered money management, early childhood issues and other practices related to children’s diets and sleeping habits. The museum offered accompanying children the opportunity to learn through play in its safe educational spaces whilst their parents attended the sessions, according to the statement.
“We all know that parenting isn’t easy, so such parenting workshops are a great way to help mothers and fathers develop good parenting skills,” the statement quoted Hind-Lara Mango, publisher and managing director of Al Marji’ Publications, as saying.
