Two dead, five injured in road accidents

AMMAN — A man died on Thursday in Zarqa when a vehicle hit him, the Civil Defence Department (CDD) said in a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The driver swerved to avoid colliding with a van and ended up injuring himself and killing the man. Also on Thursday, a 24-year-old died in a two-vehicle collision at the Dead Sea.
In a separate accident, four people were injured when their vehicle overturned in Karak and CDD cadres took them to Prince Ali Military Hospital, where they were listed in fair condition.
