Two killed, one injured in Malka, Zarqa car accidents

AMMAN – Two died in two separate car accidents and one was injured, the Civil Defence Department (CDD) said in a statement on Wednesday. A car, in Irbid’s Malka, ran over a citizen and killed him, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. His body was evacuated to Yarmouk Hospital in Bani Kinanah, according to CDD statement.
In Zarqa, a 20-year-old girl was killed and a young man was injured after their vehicle hit an electricity pole, the CDD added. The department’s media office said that its personnel provided first aid to the injured and transferred him and the deceased to Zarqa Governmental Hospital, where he was listed as being in critical condition.
