Two killed, seven injured on Thursday in accidents across Jordan

AMMAN — Two people were killed and seven were injured in a car accident and a house fire in the northern region of Jordan, the Civil Defence Department (CDD) said on Thursday.
A 22-year-old died in the car crash, while five were injured in Mafraq’s Al Khalidyah area, according the CDD statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
In Jerash, two were injured and a girl was killed in a house fire in the Al Haddadah area, Petra reported. CDD emergency response personnel responded to the accidents and evacuated the deceased and injured to the nearest medical facilities.
The victims of the car accident were evacuated to the King Talal and Badia hospitals, and were listed in fair medical conditions while victims of the fire were transferred to the Jerash Governmental Hospital.
