UAE delegates visit Jordanian contingent in Afghanistan

AMMAN — A UAE armed forces delegation participating in the special duty forces in Afghanistan on Sunday visited the Jordanian “Afghanistan 6” contingent.
Force Commander Lt. Col. Mohammad Jarrah and other senior officials received the visiting delegation.
Jarrah briefed the representatives on the contingent’s operations.
In addition to its function as a defence unit, the force also plays a humanitarian role providing clothes, stationery, foodstuff and copies of the Koran to Afghani citizens.
