UAE Red Crescent donates $500,000 to cancer foundation

AMMAN — The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) on Tuesday received a donation of $500,000 (around JD355,000) from the Emirati Red Crescent Society, a second payment of a total of $1 million the society pledged under a memorandum of understanding.
HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the board of trustees of KHCF, received the donation from the UAE Ambassador to Jordan Bilal Al Budoor, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Princess Ghida expressed her appreciation for the support, which aims at covering the treatment cost of Syrian and Palestinian patients.
