Young people in Jordan were invited to take “innovative and creative” photos of anything that represents the 17 SDGs and submit them through Instagram using the hashtag #GlobalGoalsJo. Over 200 young people registered for the competition and 34 photographs were received, the statement said.
A panel has selected 10 winners, who will be selected as “UN SDGs Advocates” in Jordan, whereby they will commit to the promotion of the SDGs in the Kingdom through their schools, universities and youth networks. The award ceremony will be held on August 6 in the presence of Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury, the statement concluded.
