UNDP Jordan representative reviews ‘Heart of Amman II’ projects

AMMAN — Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Jordan Randa Abu Al Hosn, accompanied by Director General of the Business Development Centre (BDC) Ghaleb Hijazi made a field tour to have a first-hand look atentrepreneurship projects as part of the “Heart of Amman Programme II”.
The programme is implemented by UNDP and the BDC in partnership with the Greater Amman Municipality and the National Bank for Microfinance, with a grant from the Government of Japan, according to a BDC statement.
The programme aims to improve the economic and social conditions and sustainable livelihoods of vulnerable groups in the central Amman region, mainly young people between the ages of 18 and 40.
