USTDA signs grant to enhance Amman’s infrastructure

AMMAN — The US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) signed a $900,000 grant to upscale smart city qualities in Amman, in partnership with the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM).
The US embassy said in a press statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Sunday, that the USTDA will be providing technical assistance to develop a comprehensive ten-year smart cities roadmap to enhance city operations, public services and citizens’ quality of life by harnessing innovations in information and communication technology.
USTDA Director of Congressional and Public Affairs Thomas Hardy said that USTDA is pleased to partner with the GAM on its smart cities development goals.
