Vape juice, e-cigarettes confiscated at border

AMMAN — Customs personnel, in cooperation with police, thwarted an attempt to smuggle 2,850 packs of vape juice and flavours, as well as 3,150 hookah pipes and e-cigarettes at the Omari Border Crossing on Saturday.
The Jordan Customs Department's (JCD) spokesperson said that the items were confiscated after personnel searched a truck heading to the Kingdom laden with foodstuff, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The e-cigarettes were seized for failing to meet the requirements of the Ministry of Health and related bodies.
