'Wanted criminal' detained in Ajloun

AJLOUN — Ajloun police on Monday detained a "wanted criminal" who last week participated in a brawl in Anjara, which resulted in several injuries.

A source at the Public Security Department (PSD) said Ajloun police officers tracked down the suspect, who is wanted for eight other cases, and ambushed him on a street that he frequented.

Also on Monday, a police patrol detained three suspects found in possession of a large amount of hashish and other drugs in their vehicle.

PSD personnel seized the drugs and referred the three suspects to court.
