‘Wanted man’ arrested, drugs seized in dawn raid

AMMAN — The Criminal Investigation Department, with the support of the Anti-Narcotics Department and the Balqa Police Department, on Monday arrested a “wanted man”, who was classified as very dangerous, in Balqa.

Police found firearms and narcotics in his possession, according to a Public Security Department statement.

Forces raided his house at dawn and managed to detain him. A search of the house yielded five automatic rifles, a pistol and 13 boxes of synthetic cannabis, also known as “joker”, weighing around 5kg.
