AMMAN — The Youth Innovation Conference opened on Wednesday at the Dead Sea to mark World Youth Day and encourage entrepreneurship and innovation in the Kingdom, organisers said.
Run by UNICEF, the Princess Basma Youth Resource Centre and the Jordan Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD), the three-day conference will feature young participants from across Jordan and from Palestine, Syria and Oman, JOHUD said in a statement.
Young innovators will receive advice and help from Jordan’s young technical experts in the fields of robotics, hologram technology, filmmaking, photography and social media. On the final day, the entrepreneurs will pitch an improved and refined version of their ideas to a panel of judges.
