Zarqa commerce chamber mulls marketing products by Syrian refugees

AMMAN — Zarqa Chamber of Commerce President Hussein Shreim and Rama Oreiqat, strategic partnership adviser at the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), on Thursday discussed an initiative to market Syrian refugees’ products.
They went over the possibility for the chamber to cooperate in executing the DRC’s social development plan to alleviate refugees’ pressure on host communities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Both sides also agreed to employ Jordanians and Syrians, and to cooperate in marketing Syrians’ clothing products in Zarqa markets.
