Zu’bi, UK police official discuss bilateral cooperation

AMMAN — Interior Minister Ghaleb Zu’bi on Thursday discussed with Mark Rowley, the assistant commissioner for Specialist Operations in the Metropolitan Police Service of London means to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the security and police fields.
The meeting focused on ways to address security challenges stemming from regional and international developments, mainly terrorism and extremism, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Zu’bi highlighted Jordan’s strategy to fight terrorism and extremism, currently being implemented by various national institutions. For his part, Rowley expressed his country’s keenness to boost cooperation with the Kingdom and to sustain coordination in issues of mutual interest, through exchanging expertise and information.
