Jordan knocked out by South Korea in AFC U-23 Championship

AMMAN – South Korea on Saturday ended Jordan’s journey in the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship after a 1-0 loss in the quarter-finals.
The Koreans set up a semifinal meeting with tournament host Qatar.
Moon Chang-jin scored the only goal of the game midway through the first half.
Jordan reached the quarter-finals after coming second in Group D after the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In group matches, the national team defeated Vietnam 3-1 and held the UAE and Australia to 0-0 draws.
