AMMAN — Another jam-packed season of thrills and spills will come to a close on Friday when the fourth and final round of the National Rally Championship will be held, according to the Jordan Motorsport Media Service.
Despite Khaled Juma already securing the crown after round three, a quality field is expected to tackle the two classic rally stages of the Baptism Site and Ma’in for 57.18 timed kilometres with each stage run twice.
The event is being based at the Dead Sea Service Park opposite the hotels area and the first car is expected to leave at 9:30am for the stage one at 10am.
The podium is scheduled for 2:30pm back at the Service Park. There is likely to be a huge battle with the championship runners-up spot up for grabs as just eight points separate second to fourth places.
The rally will bring the curtain down on another successful season for Jordan Motorsport, which has organised a record number of events this year.
