A Jordanian field hospital dispatched to Beirut following a massive explosion that rocked the Lebanese capital a few days ago claiming hundreds of lives and leaving thousands injured began its operations on Monday. The move came after His Majesty King Abdullah issued directives to the concerned authorities to support the Lebanese people. The 48-bed hospital, which includes 10 beds for intensive care and two operating theatres, is run by multidisciplinary medical and technical staff, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
