Students receive vaccination against diphtheria, tetanus and polio at a school in Amman on Sunday. Assistant Secretary General for Preliminary Health at the Health Ministry Ghazi Sharkas said in a statement that these vaccines are already included in the national vaccination programme that has been implemented in Jordan for years against diphtheria, tetanus and polio for first graders, in addition to tetanus and diphtheria for tenth graders. The vaccination campaign against childhood diseases is annually implemented upon the start of the scholastic year, but was delayed this year due to the closure of schools (Photos by Amjad Ghsoun)
