A relatively cold and wet air mass is expected to remain over Jordan on Wednesday, with cloudy skies and rain forecast in the northern and central regions to later extend to other areas. In a daily brief, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) expected the rainfall to be heavy and accompanied by thunder storms, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The JMD warned that there may be low horizontal visibility due to fog formation in the highlands and dust in the Badia in addition to possible floods in valleys and lowlands, also warning drivers of slick road conditions during the rain. On Thursday, temperatures will rise a few degrees, bringing pleasant weather conditions in most parts of the country, with various altitudes of cloud cover and north-westerly to north-easterly moderate winds (photos by Osama Aqarbeh)
