Authorities seal 13 illegal wells in July — water minsiter

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday was briefed on the Water Ministry’s efforts to curb assaults on water resources across the Kingdom.
Water Minister Hazem Nasser said the ministry in July sealed 13 illegal wells, confiscated two drilling rigs, dismantled 474 illegal fixtures on water pipes and discovered 30 attacks on Treasury lands in the Jordan Valley and 398 attacks on King Abdullah Canal.
