King greets ‘comrades-in-arms’ on Army Day

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday took to Twitter on the occasion of the Kingdom’s celebrations on the anniversary of the Army Day.

In a Tweet in Arabic posted on his official account, the King said: “Seeing comrades-in-arms, while we were celebrating the Army Day, took me back to the days I hold (most) dear during my service with a number of them in our Arab Army.

You are the homeland’s invincible shield and bearers of the founders’ legacy, who led Jordan’s march of independence and construction. We salute you on your day”.
