10 aftershocks follow Tiberias earthquake

AMMAN — A total of 10 aftershocks followed on Sunday morning after the earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck Lake Tiberias late Saturday, Director of the Jordanian Seismological Observatory (JSO) Ghassan Sweidan said on Sunday.
Sweidan told Petra that the aftershocks ranged between 2 and 2.9 degrees on the Richter scale. Residents in Irbid governorate felt the earthquake, but no damages were recorded, Petra added.
