12 tonnes of relief arrive in Turkey, 7-truck aid convoy dispatched to Syria

AMMAN — In implementation of Royal directives, the Foreign Ministry on Monday announced that a relief airplane, laden with 12 tonnes of relief and medical assistance, arrived in Kahramanmaras Airport in Turkey, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

The ministry also announced that the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Monday dispatched a seven-truck convoy, loaded with relief assistance, to Syria to help people affected by the earthquake. 

Carrying medicines, food items, blankets and clean drinking water, the seven trucks were dispatched to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and UN agencies, making the total number of trucks dispatched 52 since the earthquake struck Syrian regions. 

 

Through contacting 065523190, 0795005843, 0791406673, 0791200838, the organisation coordinates receiving in-kind donations with benefactors. 

 

Cash donations are made through Bank Al Etihad /Al Wehdat Branch under the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organisation, with account No. 0040/10/16599/15110 and the IBAN No. JO21UBSI1030000040101659915110 - or through Cliq service to the username JHCOD.

The organisation also receives cash donations for those afflicted by the earthquake in Turkey through Bank al Etihad/Al Wehdat Branch under the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organisation, with account No. 0040/10/16599/15107 and the IBAN No. JO05UBSI1030000040101659915107.
