2 excavators used for illegal well digging seized in Mafraq

AMMAN — The Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) on Monday announced that it seized two excavators in Mafraq's Khaldieh area, one of which was used to illegally dig a well, while the other was impounded for its connection to a previous water theft case.

WAJ said that an investigation was ongoing prior to referring the case to the concerned authorities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. WAJ also praised the efforts of Public Security Directorate personnel in helping the implementation of its campaign to detect and remove any violations or illegal fixtures on water resources.
