4 PSUT faculty members honoured

AMMAN — President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology Mashhoor Al Refai honoured researchers Ahmad Hiasat and Mohammad Sababheh for being included in the list of the best 2 per cent of researchers in the world, according to a database compiled by Stanford University.
Inventors Yazan Al Qudah and Belal Sababha were also honoured for registering a patent in the name of PSUT with the US Patent and Trademark Office, according to a statement from the university.
During the ceremony, Refai praised the two achievements, stating that they are in “full harmony” with the aspirations of HRH Princess Sumaya, chair of the university's board of Trustees, which are embodied in the university's efforts towards achieving global competitiveness and “the transformation of academic outputs into applications that serve humanity”, the statement said.
