551 vehicles seized, 1,048 people arrested for violating curfew regulations — PSD

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) personnel have seized 551 vehicles and arrested 1,048 people who violated curfew orders during the past 24 hours, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
According to the PSD’s media spokesperson, all PSD personnel are working round-the-clock to control violations against orders issued under the Defence Law, stressing that the orders are being implemented “without compromise or discrimination”.
Seized vehicles will be transferred to the designated holding yards in Swaqa and Muwaqqar, he said, adding that the vehicles’ owners will incur all the due costs upon retrieving them after one month.
