807 arrested for curfew violations in 24 hours — PSD

AMMAN — Public Security Department personnel arrested 807 people who have violated the curfew orders and impounded 425 vehicles over the past 24 hours, the PSD spokesperson said on Tuesday.
Seized vehicles will be transferred to the designated holding yards in Swaqa and Muwaqqar and the vehicles’ owners will incur all the due costs upon retrieving them after one month, he added.
The spokesperson said that all PSD personnel are working round-the-clock to ensure orders issued under the Defence Law are followed, stressing that the orders are being implemented “without compromise or discrimination”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
