Minister of Culture Basim Tweissi, who attended the ceremony, emphasised the importance of the move in improving creative economy and supporting cultural industries and handicrafts.
He highlighted the role of these industries in preserving cultural identity. Tweissi said the ministry has set a series of policies to safeguard these industries and enhance the sector's competiveness.
Traders will be provided with 800 square metres to display cultural and handmade products made by about 200 Jordanians across the Kingdom.
