Agriculture minister checks on youth training project in Madaba

AMMAN — Agriculture Minister Khalid Hneifat on Thursday checked on a youth training project on green entrepreneurship and agriculture technologies in Madaba's Thiban District.
Hneifat added that the ministry, in partnership with the Vocational Training Corporation and several associations, has trained some 6,000 people and employed almost 1,000 trainees, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He added that the training programmes in Thiban, in the third phase, has trained more than 20 young women on agricultural tourism, hydroponics, food manufacturing, recycling, and circular economy.
