Body of Belgian defence attaché repatriated

AMMAN — Deputising for Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, head of the strategic planning and defence resources at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army Brig. Gen. Nassar Athamneh on Tuesday oversaw the repatriation of the body of the Belgian defence attaché Daniel Peeters, who died of a heart attack on Thursday.
