AMMAN — The Cabinet on Sunday approved an amended system for administrative fees pertaining to services provided by the Department of Lands and Survey for the year 2023.
The system aims to prevent duplicate payments for the same transaction, as a number of services are now subject to fees as per the amended Land Registration Fees Law No. 7 of 2023.
The council of ministers also approved an amended system related to licensing in the nursing and midwifery professions for the year 2023.
The Cabinet also endorsed an amended system for the administrative organisation of the Ministry of Social Development for the year 2023. The amendments establish a framework for monitoring and enhancing the implementation of legislation and policies related to women's issues.
The Cabinet also approved the validating reasons of a draft bylaw concerning the licensing and regulation within professions dealing with the preparation and sale of hot beverages within the Greater Amman Municipality boundaries for the year 2023.
Besides ensuring public safety, the bill aims to bring order to the industry, alleviating traffic congestion caused by unregulated practices at intersections and main streets.
