Celebration held to mark World Arabic Language Day

AMMAN — Deputising for HRH Crown Prince Hussein, Minister of Culture Basim Tweissi on Wednesday attended a celebration held by the Jordanian Institution (Majmaa) of the Arabic Language to mark World Arabic Language Day.
During the event, organised by the Crown Prince Foundation’s (CPF) Dhad initiative, Khaled Karaki, head of Majmaa, announced the launch of the first app for a proficiency-based Arabic placement test, as well as the establishment of a research and development incubator designated to introduce platforms set to enrich online Arabic content, in cooperation with the CPF, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
