AMMAN — Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) Nael Kabariti and Tunisian Ambassador to Jordan Khalid Suhaili on Monday discussed means of enhancing trade relations and intra-sectoral partnerships, highlighting the role of the private sector in this arena.
During the meeting, the two sides went over the arrangements for a Jordanian delegation's visit to Tunisia scheduled to take place next June, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Kabariti said that the Kingdom's business sector is looking forward to furthering economic cooperation.
Suhaili emphasised the importance of intensifying the exchange of trade delegation visits, providing support to the private sector and easing the obstacles that hinder trade exchange between the two countries.
The Kingdom's exports to Tunisia during 11 months of last year reached some JD5 million, while its imports from the Arab country totalled around JD10 million.
