JCC president, Tunisia ambassador discuss economic, trade cooperation

AMMAN — Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) President Nael Kabariti and Tunisian Ambassador to Jordan Khaled Al Suhaili on Wednesday met over advancing trade exchange between the two countries.
The two sides also went over coordination to hold a virtual Jordanian-Tunisian Business Council meeting to boost mutual relations and activate bilateral agreements, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Talks also stressed the need of intensifying meetings to remove all obstacles hindering private sectors work, to increase future economic and trade partnerships.
Jordan’s exports to Tunisia totalled JD10 million in 2019, including pharmaceutical products, fertilisers, organic chemicals, and iron and steel products, while imports reached JD15 million.
