Czech ambassador presents medical grant to King Abdullah University Hospital

AMMAN — Czech Ambassador to Jordan Alexander Sporys presented a medical equipment grant to King Abdullah University Hospital in Ramtha, as part of the Czech Republic's Middle East Reconstruction Programme for 2022-2024. General director of the hospital, Khaldoun Bashayra, expressed gratitude for the generous donation for the second year in a row, praising the high quality of Czech medical equipment that enhances the hospital’s healthcare services provided to patients, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Ambassador Sporys underscored the Czech Republic’s commitment to supporting the healthcare sector, pledging continued grants and support to improve patient services and expand hospital capacity to handle the increasing influx of patients, especially among Syrian refugees.
