Health Ministry approves JD171,000 medical supplies donation from Czech government

AMMAN — The Ministry of Health on Thursday approved a financial donation agreement signed by the Jordanian and Czech governments, under which Al Bashir Hospital will receive JD171,000 worth of medical supplies. Minister of Health Firas Al Hawari, who signed the agreement with Czech Ambassador Alexander Sporys, expressed the government's gratitude for the Czech government's support, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Sporys said that the donation falls within the Middle East reconstruction programme for 2022-2024. He emphasised his country's commitment to supporting the health sector with the aim of improving health services, expanding the hospital's capacity and facilitating the treatment of patients seeking treatment in Al Bashir.
