DPA chief visits Zarqa Camp

AMMAN — Director-General of the Department of Palestinian Affairs (DPA) Rafiq Khirfan visited the Zarqa Camp for Palestinian refugees as part of a series of camp inspections. According to a DPA statement on Sunday, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the visit focused on several issues, mainly street stalls at the entrances of the camp which obstruct the pedestrian, traffic and emergency vehicles' flow. Khirfan checked on the application process for His Majesty King Abdullah’s makruma for General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) students, in addition to finding land for constructing a public park, per Royal directives.
