Palestinian Affairs Department, UNRWA officials visit Jerash, Souf camps

AMMAN — Director-General of the Department of Palestinian Affairs (DPA) Rafiq Khirfan and Director of UNRWA in Jordan Olaf Baker have visited Jerash and Souf camps for Palestinian refugees.

The two sides met with several camp dignitaries and representatives of civil society institutions to identify their needs, listen to their demands and highlight the challenges they face, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Wednesday, citing a DPA statement.

The department said that the visit had been well received by the camps' residents, as it plays a significant role in improving their standards of living through discussing their problems and listening to their demands.
