Hashemite Fund for Development of Jordan Badia distributes grants

AMMAN — The Hashemite Fund for the Development of the Jordan Badia (HFDJB) on Wednesday distributed a number of grants to societies in the northern, central and southern Badia, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
President of the HFDJB Board of Trustees Sharifa Zein Bint Nasser said that those grants aim to contribute to the development of the Jordan Badia and to provide job opportunities for its residents. She said that the fund financed 305 charitable and cooperative societies in establishing agricultural, service, cultural and information technology productive projects, worth JD2,642,000, which will benefit 12,852 people, Petra reported.
